A destination is a connection to any system that allows for the storage of data. It is an essential component in the process of storing/staging data to a cloud destination. xGen’s destination connectors provides connections to a variety of Data Lakes and Warehouses.
Data Lake #
The Data Lake configuration allows users to set up a Data Lake in one of the supported cloud platforms from; AWS, Azure, Snowflake and GCP. The Data Lake will be used to store the data from source connections.
To configure the Data Lake, users will need to provide connection specific details for the cloud platform of choice.
Data Warehouse #
To set up a data warehouse destination in the cloud environment, users will need to configure a Data Warehouse in on one of the supported cloud platforms, including RedShift, Snowflake, Clickhouse and SQL server. The Data Warehouse will be used store the data from source connections.
